The house is equipped for up to 8 people. We do not let it to larger groups as experience has shown us that the impact is simply too much for the house and too expensive for us.

We will send you a booklet before your arrival which spells out the mechanics of the house and gives information about local restaurants and day-trips.

Parking

There is parking for 1 or 2 cars through the electric code/remote controlled gates. There is a separate garage.

Hot water/Heating

Included in rental.
Wintertime: central and electric heating is included.
There is wood in the shed at the front of the house for the fireplace in the lounge if required..

Cleaning

The house is cleaned before your arrival.
Bed-linen is provided and beds will be made for you.

Towels

We ask you to bring your own towels.

Kitchen

Fully fitted kitchen including:

1 Fan-assisted oven and electric hob.
2 Fridge freezer.
3 Dishwasher
4 Washing machine.
5 There are ample saucepans, crockery, glasses, cutlery, etc for 8 people.

Dining room

Dining table for 8 people.

Bathrooms/WC

There is a bathroom on the ground floor with a shower. The bathroom on the first floor has a bath and shower. There is also a third toilet.

Bedrooms

There are three double bedrooms and one twin room.
Large chest of drawers in back bedroom, large wardrobe in the cast-iron bedroom, wardrobe in the twin room, large wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom.

Lounge

On the first floor with two balconies and door to garden. Three-piece cane suite and glass table, occasional tables and armchairs. Desk and antique harmonium.
Note of warning: the shutters on the large balcony need to be opened and shut by careful adults only. Please take care as the many panels have a mind of their own.

Garden

There are 6 sun beds with cushions, two dining tables, various seating areas, 2 parasols.
Feel free to move the garden furniture to suit your needs. Take the parasols down in windy weather - they can be stored in the garden shed near the barbeque.
There are lights in the garden which are controlled by switches and by remote control.

Barbeque

Carbon can be found underneath or in the garden shed or can be bought in the village SPAR.

Pool

Serviced each week on a Friday.
There is a light in the pool - switch is on the pool-house wall near the plants.
Inflatables are in the pool or in the pool shed near the garden shower - key in hallway table.
Shower: the shower is solar heated and can be very hot.

Electric gate

We will give you the code before your arrival. There are remote controls for the gates and garden lights in the drawer in the hallway table.

Garage

The garage is on the other side of the lane leading to the house: it has port-hole windows in a sliding door. Key is in the drawer of the hallway table.

Damage deposit

A deposit of £100 will be returned in the event of no breakages or replacement of items broken.
